Simple and Easy Dry Rub for BBQ

There are two things to love about using a dry rub when grilling: convenience and health.  Rub it on chicken, or other meats right before cooking.  The spices, high in antioxidants, make a very flavorful zero calorie addition.  

Makes about 1 cup

Ingredientsdryrub2

1/4 cup paprika
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons cumin
2 tablespoons coarse salt
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon white pepper

Directions

Mix all of the ingredients together in a small bowl.  Rub on and underneath the skin of chicken parts and grill.

To store: make a double batch of this rub and store in a glass container in a cool, dark cabinet.
