I have been thinking about switching from blogging to podcasting for a very long time.
Blogging was starting to feel uninspiring to me, and while I love to write, I thought I could spark a little more creativity with a podcast.
Do you want to know the name and sign up? I would love it if you did! My podcast is Real Food Stories and after all the soul searching of finding the perfect name I think it is very fitting. Between my own journey with making peace with food and the experiences of my clients, eating real food is at the heart of healthy eating. In fact, I use the hashtag #eatrealfood every time I post on IG.
While simply making the switch and eating real food would solve so many of the weight issues and health concerns we have in the world, we are all individuals with our very own personal stories about how we were raised with the food we eat. Diets, our cultures, our feelings, and our emotions around food are woven deeply into our psyche.
We all have a story to tell.
I can’t wait for you to join me! My intention is to cover all the things that come up for midlife women when it comes to food, weight, body image, and on and on. There is a lot to cover.
PS in this episode you will:
- find out why the importance of owning your food stories matters;
- get to know me and realize why I am qualified to talk about food, health, and nutrition
- discover how women came to be so confused and disenchanted with something we need to be with daily – real, nourishing food;
- hear the first part of my story, when food was actually fun;
